Last night was the "Kick out the Clots" benefit at the Echo/Echoplex...Great Northern played along with a slew of other bands, including Living Things, Rocco DeLuca, She Wants Revenge, Jarrod from The Honorary Title, the LA Ladies Choir, and some DJ stuff. I had seen Black Rebel Motorcycle Club on the poster, but it was taken off. I guess they canceled. I had been looking forward to that, so that's lame. oh well.
Anyway, the show had a pretty nice turn out...Great Northern played right before She Wants Revenge, and the crowd seemed pretty into it. Here are some pics:
LA Ladies' Choir
There were A LOT of them onstage....
Here are some pics of Great Northern:
And some other pics....
Living Things....they rocked it pretty hard downstairs....
She Wants Revenge.....
In all, it was a pretty good show. Great Northern played songs from both their albums, including the KROQ-favorite "Houses", and everyone in attendance seemed to be having a pretty good time. The turnout indicated that a lot of people care about Jennifer from Spaceland, and it was a pretty nice thing to see so many people come out to the show and help with the cause.
