As we all know, he died yesterday suddenly and very unexpectedly. No matter how "strange" he may have been, he left a lasting impression on the entire world with his musical contributions, and will be missed. It's obvious from the incredible amount of attention given to his passing that we were all still fans, whether or not we knew it. It's my personal belief that pop stars just don't get as famous and popular anymore as Michael was. He was an international icon, and most of the music he created stands the test of time. He will be missed, even though he was a bit of a strange fellow in some regards.
