I went to Pehrspace last night and saw my buddies
American Gil and The Major Dudes play an awesome set. It was a
Narf Records showcase and American Gil's record release show. American Gil is lead by uh, Gil on lead vocals with an all star group of musicians, including members of other awesome IE acts like Child P, No Paws (No Lions), Voice On Tape and the infamous Holy Curtain. Gil and The Dudes played an amazing set. I had seen them play live once in the KSPC basement when they played on Random Necessities For Audible Bliss. They were great then too, but seeing them at a live show and feeding off the energy of the crowd was a totally different experience. They are my new favorite local band. Go see them play.
