Scissors for Lefty on iTunes today!!

No, we haven't moved our offices into the vestibule outside the iTunes offices so they'll include our artists on their front page every day (although Steve Jobs, if you're looking for bands to help you launch new Apple products, email me please... iPhone ahem?)

They just seem to like us over there...

Today Scissors for Lefty's LONG awaited release, Underhanded Romance hit iTunes for purchase as an EXCLUSIVE!!

They're featured on the front page and the digital version of the record includes a remix but SF's own Baron Von Luxxury which will also be available on the vinyl version out June 12th.

Keep an eye on all your favourite sites in the coming weeks for updates from Scissors for Lefty and don't forget you can PRE-ORDER the record on Eenie Meenie's homepage and get a special package!

We logged on to iTunes today and were pleasantly surprised to find that Great Northern's "Home" is listed as the Single of the Week! It's lovely to see them perched right next to the White Stripes (a favourite of yours truly fer sure), and I'm tempted to ask Solon to reach over and pluck a feather from Meg White's hat. The reviews have been very positive in this last week and that's
thanks in no small part to you folks! iTunes is offering today what you've been offering for months now and we're so happy to say it's all
really paying off!

We'd like to thank all of you who came out last week for the CD release party (lines around the block were INDEED a nice touch to a fantastic night) especially presenters Rock
Insider and Radio Free Silver Lake. KCRW also
presented the show and Great Northern's performance on Morning Becomes Eclectic can be seen and heard now.

If you missed the CD release party, you have another chance to catch the band in L.A. before they go on tour for the summer with Loney, Dear, the Mary Timony Band, and The

Join Scissors for Lefty this Saturday for a PARTY!

Scissors for Lefty's own Bryan and Steven are coming down from San Francisco to DJ a party in downtown Los Angeles and you can be there too! The band will be bringing along a copy of their upcoming release, Underhanded Romance to play at the party so you can hear it a few weeks before it hits stores (due out June 12th).
